上面這一首輕快的聖誕歌曲，是很俏皮的一首歌，歌詞在描述他心愛的人在聖誕節的12天裡每天送給他的東西，每天加一樣東西，而且心加上的東西數量逐漸增加。歌詞越來越長，上面這樣寫完，看起來是不是像＂樹中有樹＂呢？
我在網路找資料時，還有人把它設計成數學題目呢！比方說，十二天之後，他到底收到了多少 partridge (鷓鴣)呢？是這樣計算的：每天收一隻，最後就有十二隻囉！
如果是 turtle doves (斑鳩)，從第二天開始送，每天送兩隻，最後會有多少隻呢？
第三天開始送 French hens，最後會有多少隻呢？
第四天開始送 calling birds，最後會有多少隻呢？
第五天開始送 golden rings 金色戒指，最後會有多少個呢？
(哇，怎麼這麼好，送金色戒指，我也想要！)

I heard this song about 100 times during X'mas.
The best version is by John Denver and the Seseme street muppets.
This video was from long ago. John Denver died in a plane crash years ago. May him RIP.

我以前寫格子是當記錄生活，去年開始覺得可以定在以教育為主，喜歡學習新知的人應該會喜歡，也有人會覺得我太嚴肅了一些，總要考試(猜謎)之類的。
這歌詞我也沒背，之前在美國買了一本聖誕歌曲，裡面剛好也有這首，就順便拿出來介紹了。
John Denver was a famous folk song writer/singer in the US.
You probably heard of the song" Rocky mountain High".
You can youtube it.
My favorite is " Leaving on a jet plane" . It was written by him but famously sung by another folk group " Peter, Paul,a nd Mary"
I am a big folk song lover. ^^
Denver died doing something he loved to do. We'll always remember him by his sincerity and great talent.
