今天的題目是我看了我現在國小五年級學生的期末考卷延伸而來的，這只是其中一個大題。
要怎麼做呢？我會先列出動物，下面再出題目，大家依照題目指示，選出正確的動物，把答案拼出來就行了。因為不知道大家的程度如何，題目裡有生字的話就要麻煩自己查一下字典囉。
今天的動物選項有蛇(snake)、海豹(seal)、孔雀(peacock)、北極熊(polar bear)、鱷魚(crocodile)、猴子(monkey)、斑馬(zebra)、袋鼠(kangaroo)、印度豹(cheetah)、長頸鹿(giraffe)。
題目如下：
上面說到了crocodile，今天就順便教大家一個有趣的日常用法，是平常和朋友分別(道再見)時可用的俏皮話。
一個人先說： See you later, alligator.
另一個人就可以說： In a while, crocodile.
alligator是美洲鱷魚，crocodile是澳洲鱷魚，這兩句剛好都用上鱷魚，又有押韻，很俏皮。下次和朋友道再見，也可以拿來用用看喔。
So now, see you later, alligator! (Hope I can hear your response.)

補充說明：
當初設計時，因為受限於五分鐘的時間，所以沒有再編得更複雜，其實如果不受時間限制，可以放入更多情節，把更多童話故事的片斷編進去的。目前這個改編故事裡有四個主角，只有仙蒂的故事沒有編進去，有點可惜，以後有機會希望能把她的故事也編進去這裡面。這次因為中間經過了耶誕節和元旦，所以中間先介紹和節日相關的英文，這個故事才會拖到現在做結尾。感謝大家的收看！
接下來的幾回，我打算把這學期學生的考題拿來給大家做做看，請大家屆時可以來看看現在五年級的學生學了些什麼。

上面這一首輕快的聖誕歌曲，是很俏皮的一首歌，歌詞在描述他心愛的人在聖誕節的12天裡每天送給他的東西，每天加一樣東西，而且心加上的東西數量逐漸增加。歌詞越來越長，上面這樣寫完，看起來是不是像＂樹中有樹＂呢？
我在網路找資料時，還有人把它設計成數學題目呢！比方說，十二天之後，他到底收到了多少 partridge (鷓鴣)呢？是這樣計算的：每天收一隻，最後就有十二隻囉！
如果是 turtle doves (斑鳩)，從第二天開始送，每天送兩隻，最後會有多少隻呢？
第三天開始送 French hens，最後會有多少隻呢？
第四天開始送 calling birds，最後會有多少隻呢？
第五天開始送 golden rings 金色戒指，最後會有多少個呢？
(哇，怎麼這麼好，送金色戒指，我也想要！)
格友Andria提到上面這支在 youtube 裡面的影片很不錯，我看過之後，覺得可以找十二個人來學他們玩唱歌遊戲呢！

English is fun (7) - Look forward to the New Year 2010
除夕那天實在太累了，沒等到倒數，我就已經睡著了，當天預定要出的英語學習文章也沒來得及寫出來，希望大家見諒。
這幾天想一想，決定把這個單元改變名稱，叫做＂English is fun＂，以後內容不限於拼字，這樣可以有比較多元的練習，內容也可以活潑實用一些。
我也曾經考慮過用英語歌謠來讓大家學習英語，但是因為歌曲裡面有很多不正式的用法，怕大家沒學好正規英語，混淆了視聽，所以就不另開單元，但有合適的曲子，會在這單元裡介紹。
曾有格友希望我能放上錄音或錄影，總之就是希望能聽到發音，那是個很好的建議。不過因為要花時間，我暫時還沒空每次做這個部份，希望大家包涵。但願今後喜歡英語的舊雨新知，不吝指正。

不過學任何東西就是不要怕難，不要怕犯錯，錯了沒關係。如果不會出錯，就表示你已經會了，也就不用學了，不是嗎？
