緬甸最近很緊張。因為以前在奧斯汀時常去緬甸廟，認識了一些法師與積極學佛的美國朋友，所以對這條新聞也特別注意。
緬甸其實是個很淳樸的國家，大部分的人民都信奉南傳佛教。以前曾是英國殖民地，獨立後不久，就落入軍政府統治，直至今日還是如此。
這兩天不斷接獲電子郵件，說我們前往修行的朋友Bernie已經到了首都仰光，今天要前往北邊Sagaing Hills，法師們也都安然無恙，並沒有受傷或被逮捕，真是萬幸。
另一方面，也有人寄電子郵件來，希望大家能上網幫緬甸向聯合國安全理事會請願，希望能受到保護。我已經上網完成簽署，希望大家也能來幫忙簽署，在此先謝過了！
